Excessive fuel consumption in a 1999 mazda b2500 pickup.? - excessive fuel consumption e46

I seem to be a significant decrease in fuel consumption had. I have the fuel filter, plugs and cables, and the air filter is fairly new. I was 26 to 28 miles per gallon, and have now fallen to 18 and 22 miles per gallon. This truck is equipped with a 4-cylinder equipped with 5 trannsmission SPD. I am a professional driver. I had this car for 9 years now. Truck has 132,000 + miles on it still works with the brakes on the truck. I take care of this car are the performance of fuel in each tank, and I'm very mechanically inclined. From petrol in the tank is really the question that disturbs me. New tires properly inflated.

It may be something in the system to control environmental pollution, since the lambda probe. We really need a mechanic with a scanner to the various entrances to review and recommend a remedy. An investigation costs about $ 30, then be able to repair itself. If a member of the AAA-scans for the members, but not repaired, but in some places.
